USING THE REVISED BLOOM’S TAXONOMY TO ANALYZE THE READING COMPREHENSION QUESTIONS IN EFL TEXTBOOK FOR YEAR X OF HIGH SCHOOL

چکیده

Reading skill is an important in the mastery of a language as more students read, exposed they are to target language. Giving reading comprehension questions that suit students’ thinking level has been widely known foster critical and comprehension. This study aimed (1) explore cognitive found EFL textbook based on Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy (2) appropriate supplement meet Curriculum 2013. analyzed for year X high school domain Taxonomy. The findings show proportion between LOTS HOTS was 85.5% 15.5%. Considering dominated by questions, it concluded not 10th grade students. Therefore, this proposed 84 so allow hone their through various processes. There increase 20.4% percentage after addition researcher’s supplementary became 65.1% (LOTS questions) 34.9% (HOTS questions).
